These pants are made of a very comfortable fabric that has slight give but no stretch. The 5 pockets (2 hip, 2 thigh, and 1 back) are all deep and close with zippers. I am 57 and the regular (29 inseam) are slightly long on me, though I will wait until after I wash them a couple of times to see if they need a hem. These pants fit me well through the hips, meaning that the hips are narrower than most pants (my hips are only a couple of inches larger than my waist) - I would order these based on hip size primarily as the waist is drawstring/elastic. These fit well through the thighs and are cut straight in the leg, making them wide at the lower leg. I also appreciate that the fabric is quick drying. The pants seem well made and the fabric is a good weight and color. Overall these pants would be comfortable for hiking, being active, or even just kicking back and lounging.

The fit was perfect. They are lightweight and all the pockets were great for keys, phone, water and sunscreen.

I've only worn the pants twice so it's a little early to give a full review. They are very lightweight, fit me well (I'm not very curvy) and the pockets lie pretty flat with stuff in them, which I like. I'm thinking I'll probably wear them on long drives and casual events in the fall, right now it's too hot to wear them a lot! i also want to give props to Willit customer service, one pair I ordered snagged a zipper pull right off during the first wash, I complained and they sent a new pair immediately. My advice is these pants are machine wash and dryer-safe, but turn them inside out when machine washing to make sure the zipper pulls don't catch anything in the wash.

I'm glad I decided to get this without really knowing how it will fit or look on me. It is true to size for me so that's a relief. I like the pockets because this will allow me not to have to carry a purse, between this pants and my travel vest that has lots of pockets. Perhaps Willit can offer a lightweight travel vest. The two travel vests (not made by Willit) I have are just not quite lightweight enough . . .

I purchased these pants to take on my trip to Wyoming. I am going hiking, rafting, horseback riding, and sightseeing. I believe these pants will be perfect for all my needs. I also could dress them up with a nice top when I go out to dinner.

The pants fit well and the quality of the material is better than I expected. In addition to being very satisfied with the merchandise I found this company a pleasure to deal with.

I ordered and received several pair of the Women's 10" shorts. I really love the style, type of material and the side zippered pockets. When I ordered the long pants I thought that the material would be same or similar. Well that's not the case. The material is flimsy and most likely should be used in ladies night wear. I also thought the zippered pockets were sideways like the shorts instead of longways. Definitely not a good material for the outdoor enthusist. I'll keep the pants and hopefully be able to find a sturdier hiking pant in the future. If the material was the same as the shorts it definitely would be much better.

Finally after searching for comfortable and lightweight pants for travel, etc, AND ordering four pairs of lightweight pants from various companies, I am pleased to announce that the pants from Willits fit my expectations! Beyond being light as a feather, these black pants fit to a T and have tons of pockets! I may have to order a few more colors

Willit understands what "petite" means. I've ordered shorts and now pants from them and they fit me perfectly. And they have lots of secure pockets which is so handy when traveling.

These pants are comfortable.

These are nicely made travel or hiking pants. Lots of pockets, all zipper-secure. They're lightweight so not for winter. I'm usually a medium. I have a pair in medium and one in large. The only difference is a little more room to move in the large. The length is perfect for my 5'3" height.

These pants are light weight but not as breathable as I would like for hiking. Airflow is minimal. The color is great and the fabric is comfortable but offers very little stretch. The fit is pretty true to size. They are a little snug in the calf area for me, but I also have large calves for my size. I normally wear a 4-6 and a small in these hit the mark. The length is also spot on with description and a great offering for us short legged girlies. The pockets are nice but the zippers dont seem to be as beefy as Id prefer. They require 2 hands to open - 1 to hold the fabric taught while the other pulls the zipper.

These pants are really nice overall. They are well made and a cute style. I see from the other reviews that a lot of people found them to run big; I had the opposite experience and feel they run a bit small. I ordered a size small based on the size chart (28" waist, 36"hips) and I feel they barely fit in these areas and are just a bit tighter than I would like. If I had it to do over again, I would get a medium. I also debated on what length to order. According to the size chart I needed the tall size (I am 5'7) but I typically never order tall pants and have always found standard length to fit fine. So, out of fear they would be too long and drag on the floor, I ordered the standard length. I'd say they still fit, but barely. They look okay while I'm standing, but when sitting they feel too short. I probably should have also sized up to the tall length. I think I made all the wrong decisions on sizing!

I ordered the light khaki color as I felt that would be best for wearing outside in hot weather, but I find the lightweight fabric to be a little too see through, especially in the back. There is only one back pocket; I wish there were two so there would be an extra fabric layer across the whole backside. As it is, these are the kind of pants where people will be able to tell what kind of underwear you're wearing because there's just very little coverage. If I had it to do again, I would only order a dark color to avoid the see through issue. So...I guess I not only picked the wrong size, I picked the wrong color.

Despite all that, what I said in my first two sentences is still true....these are still nice pants. If i'd been able to try them on in a store, I would have found the right fit and color right away. I would consider if you like this style of pants to be more form-fitting or looser, and how comfortable you are with underwear lines showing through the light colors before you order. And follow the size chart for length!
