I'm 5'4" 125 lbs, small waist, curvy hips. I started with small and they were slouchy through the belly/hip area. Tried XS and it's perfect. Waist is higher than I normally like, but for the color and price I can live with it.
If you have to wear khakis for work these are not the ones. They are very lightweight and comfortable but... See through. So unless you have skin colored underwear, I only suggest these for walks and gardening.

I so badly want to find a woman's shorts with a pocket long enough to hold a cell phone securely, not a pocket that contains only half of it so that it slips out when one bends over or sits. Other that that, these are nice.

I love these shorts.I am 7 months Postpartum. These sit high enough to cover leftover baby tummy but arent living right under your boobs.They have POCKETS big enough to hold stuff. Phone in one, pacifier, baby toy and what left of my sanity in the other. I need more of these shorts.
