Nice and thin which is exactly what you want for a 90+ degree day! However, I splashed a little water on it and it showed dark right away. I got the light blue, might be less visible on darker colors, so that may be less than ideal for some activities. Definitely not sheer so that's good. I want to keep it because the fit and color is nice, looks awesome with dark wash jeans, but I actually needed this to be a UPF shirt for golf that won't make me look and feel like a sweaty mess. Given the way the water showed, it's doubt this will be good at sweat-wicking for summer sports. Bummer as I also don't wanna be self-conscious wearing this at work if I have a hot flash so I'm on the fence right now ... I had to size up significantly due to my meno-potbelly :-(. 5'8", 168, 36B XL (fits long in the arms, but I have long arms so it's amazing to have a shirt to partially cover my hands. I do think it looks better in person than it did in the photo - a lovely pale turquoise . Feels a teeny bit itchy, but I think it would soften up quickly once it's washed. TBD...

Nice fabric that washes well. Feels light and cool on a warm day. The bottom of the shirt is a little looser than I like.
