I wish I had these shirts years ago before I damaged my skin. I am terrible at putting on sunscreen and worse at reapplying when it washes off. This shirt takes care of that for me. Also, I really don't like smearing chemicals on me that I don't know what the future repercussions will be. This shirt eliminates all of those issues.

Like it and want more in different colors.

This a wonderful shirt perfect for a day on the lake!

Bought for my fair-skinned husband for working on the farm. He really likes the style, although the hood is too loose when using the gator part of the shirt. He told me to not buy him any more though, as he thinks they're not breathable enough. Working in western Kansas in the summer, breathability is essential. I'm kinda bummed, thought it was a good find.

My husband loves these shirts. He has two and they are perfect for work and play outdoors.

The overall fit, texture and material weight of this product is is satisfactory for the price. However, the hood is extremely shallow and doesn't cover your whole head. I read a similar review and thought, "Ohh, maybe that guy has a large head and it would be different for me." However, that is clearly not the case, so you've been warned. I got these to replace the baseball hat and bandana method, but it seems like I may be going back.

I tested wearing this hooded long sleeve while hiking White Mountain Peak in California. It's quite windy there, all above the tree line with nothing but small rocks to block it. Used as a base layer, it helped tremendously, being able to cover over my mouth to help keep from breathing in cold air from 13k-14k of elevation. I will definitely be wearing it while hiking 10k+ peaks in Socal.

I have purchased these uv shirts for two years now--just one last year and three this year. I hike a lot and I also do a lot of yard work. They definitely get used. They look just fine--I mean, it's a uv shirt, they feel great against the skin, and the price is right.

This product does a good job of protecting me from the sun, especially on days when it is too hot to wear any other kind of hoodie. It is hard to put on--it goes on backwards a lot. The face covering is a little uncomfortable and hard to adjust. I look like a visitor from another planet when I wear it. Nevertheless, it allows me to go outside on hot days.

I wanted a white, lightweight hoodie and I couldn't turn this one down due to the price. It doesn't have the same feel as a Columbia or similar shirt, but it is lightweight and breathable. the pockets in the shirt are cool too.

I wore this every day backpacking the Pacific Crest Trail for just over 4 months. The sun protection was great, and its very comfortable. I also liked the face guard for when the sun was in my face, or if it was really chilly out to cover my nose.What I didn?t like was where the zippers were located. They would sit right under the hip belt of my backpack which would cause pain daily unless I shifted them out of the way by pulling on my shirt. Also the arms were just a little too short, so the thumb loops would be too tight on my hands.All this said, this was an awesome sun hoody for the price, and mine survived the whole trip with no holes but some sun fading which was to be expected.

The fit isn't the best but you get what you pay for and it's a great deal. Functional as expected. I used it for hours and hours while hiking in Arizona and Utah. I purposely searched for a hoodie with face covering because I didn't want to keep applying or reapplying sunblock. Looks wise, this doesn't compare to my other UV hoodie from REI that costs 3x the price of this one but has the same functionality. Highly recommend this one as a second hoodie when the first ones in the wash.

Fits great and after spending hours on the open water in the direct sun, no sun burns where the shirt was covering. the hood and face mask are nice. I wish the face mask was a bit more breathable, but it did its job. I did get a bit warm from time to time but then again it is a long sleeve shirt in the direct sun in the Texas heat, so it is to be expected. Was totally worth having it one the fishing trip!
