I'm 5'2", 116 lbs, curvy/pear shaped, and usually wear a small size ordered the size 4 which runs a bit roomy on me. A size 2 would likely have fit better but 4 works fine. the waistband hits right at my belly button.Really good quality construction durable fabric that feels like it will hold up to rugged conditions without being so thick it's hot or uncomfortable. What sets these apart from most hiking shorts is that they look structured and neat rather than sloppy its easy to transition from the trail to a casual lunch without looking like you came straight from a hike.Front and back pockets easily fit an iPhone 15 Pro Max. Minor gripe the internal drawstring is unnecessary for fit and just adds an extra step when you need to use the bathroom. Priced appropriately for the quality.

With summer here, I have been looking for some new shorts for hiking adventures, and these are a super cute option. The fabric is lightweight, breathable, and has just the right amount of stretch for moving around. I love that they keep you nice and dry even when you're working up a sweat.Best of all, they don't ride up at all while walking, which is a huge relief on the trail! My other favorite feature is the pockets. Unlike most women's shorts, the back pockets are actually deep enough to fit a full size phone almost all the way in. Plus, they have a little flap closure at the top, so you don't have to worry about your things falling out. The inside also includes a comfortable mesh-type liner.I found that these run a bit small, so you might want to consider sizing up if you are in between sizes. Even though they run a little small, they still fit and are comfortable. Highly recommend for hiking or casual summer days!

The size 8 in this style fits well and is very flattering, unfortunately the button was defective.
